Step 10: The Overload Principle
This is one of the most missed principles in the area of Exercise due to we as humans being habitual people.
The overload principle works when you challenge your body past the point of what it is used to doing. The human body runs on a normal homeostatis state, if you are not increasing intensity in someway your body will stay the same - period! So next time you are about to embark on your workout routine remember the following variables:
Frequency - how often do you train?
Intensity - how hard are you training? what is your heart rate?
Time - how long do you train for?
Type - what time of training are you doing? does it really burn fat?
Ask yourself one of the above questions to help change the results you are getting and to get better results with the variables above.
